2023-11-23KVM demo updatesScott Murray1-2/+2
Changes: - Fix native-shell-client systemd unit to work with the changes made for SPEC-4714 (separate agl-compositor systemd unit, running as agl-driver). - Update agl-qemu-runner.sh for the SPEC-4714 changes. - Tweak cluster guest configuration to use just 2 cores and 1 GB of memory to free up resources for the host. - Add inverted psplash configuration that is pulled in for the KVM demo image when building with agl-demo-preload. This matches the inverted screen in the demo hardware. 2022-11-23output-udev-conf: add recipeScott Murray4-2/+26
Add recipe to install udev rules to force all input devices to be associated with the HDMI-A-1 output. The intended use is with the KVM host image to ensure input devices are matched to the IVI guest VM. Also fixed the RDEPENDS for the other udev rule recipes to depend on udev specifically instead of systemd. 2022-07-06demo-i2c-udev-conf: update for reworked agl-service-hvacScott Murray7-27/+26
Update demo-i2c-udev-conf recipe and the script and systemd unit it installs to generate the configuration that the reworked agl-service-hvac daemon expects for LED configuration for the demo platform. 2021-08-20Convert to new override syntaxScott Murray3-5/+5
This is the result of running a slightly customized version of the convert-overrides.py script from poky with additional overrides added. The intent of these changes is to minimize the effort to keep the "next" branch that builds against poky master up to date and tested in preparation for the switch to the next Yocto LTS release in early 2022. 2020-12-17SPEC-3723: restructure meta-agl-demoJan-Simon Moeller6-0/+71
All demo related components should be in here now. We keep the packagegroups on purpose for now to stay backward-compatible. v2: layer does pass yocto-check-layer, dependencies adapted v3: remove the dynamic-layer setup, use all-in-one approach v4: Fixed comments from Paul Barker. Tnx! v5: Removed wayland/weston/agl-compositor additions, except for demo specific weston-init bbappend Follow-up changes required later: - massaging packagegroups - scrub of recipes Bug-AGL: SPEC-3723 Signed-off-by: Jan-Simon Moeller <jsmoeller@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Scott Murray <scott.murray@konsulko.com> Change-Id: I47cefd8c23d46b2cdd063470e3f7d97d5ad952d8

2019-12-14Add udev rules and scripts for demo platform configurationicefish_8.99.3icefish/8.99.38.99.3Jan-Simon Moeller8-0/+126
Add recipes for udev rules and associated scripts 1) Support USB attached I2C devices for RTC and HVAC LED support. The RTC support loads and configures the required rtc-ds1307 driver, and sets the time from the RTC clock. The HVAC LED support configures the LED device names for use by the HVAC binding. The new demo-i2c-udev-conf recipe is added to DEMO_PLATFORM_CONF variable in packagegroup-agl-demo-platform to have them added to the agl-demo-platform image. Since they use udev rules to detect the corresponding hardware, this should be safe for all platforms.
