Rework inclusion of KUKSA.val databroker server and client support
into image features that can be specified via IMAGE_FEATURES, and
use that in our demo image definitions. As well, add a new
agl-kvm-host-kuksa feature that allows configuring the KVM demo
build to run the databroker on the host instead of in the IVI
guest. Some further application configuration changes are
required for that to fully work, those will come in follow up
commits.

The all-in-one packagegroup-agl-image-ivi makes it difficult to
use the dependencies it pulls into images in a piecemeal fashion.
It has been removed and instead its dependencies are included in
the base IVI image defintion. As well, the IVI services
packagegroup has been split to have packagegroups for applaunchd
versus platform-dependent services (audio, HVAC, etc.).
These will enable doing using conditional logic in the IVI image
defintion that will be more visible and not break binary packaging.

Some rework to add agl-ivi-demo-base and agl-ivi-demo-base-flutter
images that have all of the required demo services and configuration,
but not our demo UI applications. As part of this, move some of the
conditional package inclusion logic out of the demo platform
packagegroups into the image recipes to make the packagegroup contents
stable, and add applaunchd to the IVI services packagegroup so it'll
always get pulled in. Some of this may still get redone in the future
per SPEC-4813.

Changes to switch the Qt-based agl-demo-platform demo from using
the older KUKSA.val server to the new gRPC based databroker. The
Flutter demo's vehicle signalling behavior ends up a bit broken
by these, but the image still boots and basic things still work.
A follow on set of changes will convert the Flutter apps to the
new gRPC API and remove the KUKSA.val server completely.
Notable changes:
- Updated libqtappfw, homescreen, ondemandnavi, and tbtnavi recipes
to pick up changes to switch to using the databroker.
- Updated agl-service-audiomixer and agl-service-hvac recipes to
pick up their rework for using the databroker.
- All the Qt demo applications that use the VehicleSignals class
from libqtappfw have had their .conf and .token files updated to
work with the databroker. As well, the JSON files used to create
the new app-specific authorization tokens have been checked in to
provide a reference of how things are configured.
- The DBC feeder configuration has been changed to push into the
databroker. Having a duplicate instance to also push into the
older server has not been set up, as hopefully the Flutter demo
conversion will follow on quickly enough to not require it.
- Packagegroups for the KUKSA.val server and databroker have been
factored out and are used instead of using the agl-ivi-services
packagegroup.
- kuksa-databroker-cli and the simple CAN simulator script are now
included into the demo images when building with agl-devel.

Remove the use of systemd user session to align with how upstream
runs Weston, and to allow using all systemd sandboxing features with
the compositor and homescreen, launcher, etc. applications. The
changes for this touched enough packagegroups and images that further
rework was done to address some of the cleanup described in SPEC-4813,
see below for details.
Changes:
- Rework systemd units and recipes of affected applications.
- Rework images to pull in image .bb files instead of .inc files.
- Pull in the new agl-image-compositor as a base image where
appropriate.
- Update weston-terminal-conf recipe to use new split out
weston-terminal package.
- Use new agl-crosssdk bbclass where appropriate.
- Pull some local common cross-SDK additions into a new
agl-ivi-crosssdk.inc include file and use as appropriate. Note
that this does have a side effect of likely correcting the contents
of agl-image-ivi-crosssdk for some recent additions.
- Remove flutter-gallery bbappend that turned it into an app, as we
are not using it in images, have other examples now, and it seems
better to not affect the contents of agl-image-flutter.
- Remove unused agl-image-graphical-html5. If a downstream user does
desire an image with Chromium+WAM without applications, restoring it
can be considered.
- Remove unused agl-image-graphical-qt5-crosssdk.
- Remove all packagegroup-agl-profile-* packagegroups, as they were
either empty or not providing value at this point. Any future plans
for defining profiles can start from a clean sheet.
- Added new packagegroup-agl-ivi-multimedia-hardware to hold some
rcar3 specific additions (via override) that were previously being
appended onto packagegroup-agl-graphical-multimedia even though
they are machine-specific and that packagegroup is not. This may
be a stopgap solution if the agl-ivi-* packagegroups are reworked
further.
- Replace some :append usage with += to avoid creating problems
for downstream users.

This adds a recipe for window-management-client-grpc for testing out the
gRPC interface. This client will talk with the compositor indirectly,
using the gRPC interface exposed by the grpc-proxy helper client.

With the recent protocol changes and Qt shell client updates, we can
now switch off activate by default for the agl-demo-platform.
This allows a smooth transtion and allows running code side-by-side
until all shell clients will transition to it. For now we'll do it
for just Qt homescreen (agl-demo-platform).

Add psplash-portrait-config recipe to install a systemd unit override
for psplash-start.service that forces a 90 degree rotation for
portrait mode, add add it to packagegroup-agl-demo-platform so that
it takes affect in the agl-demo-platform image.

Rework the agl-ivi-demo-platform* images to reduce duplication,
and move the additions for the agl-demo-cluster-support and
agl-demo-preload features.
Changes:
- Pull in agl-image-ivi.bb in the crosssdk image rather than
duplicating its contents. This means the package additions
from the demo features will be reflected in the SDK, which
seems more in line with general expectations of how Yocto SDKs
work.
- New packagegroups are created for the agl-demo-cluster-support
and agl-demo-preload features, and they are pulled into the
agl-ivi-demo-platform / agl-demo-platform image using features
in IMAGE_FEATURES. This avoids changing the contents of various
packagegroups based on AGL_FEATURES and seems more futureproof
with respect to binary packaging.
- ALLOW_EMPTY has been removed in a few packagegroup recipes, as
it does not seem to make sense if the packagegroup will never
be empty.
- The cluster-dashboard-demo-config recipe pulled into the
agl-demo-cluster-support packagegroup has been added back, it
was accidentally removed in the application framework cleanup.

Changes:
- Restore the image recipes for the agl-cluster-demo-platform and
agl-telematics-demo-platform images, with updates to them and
their associated packagegroups for the app framework removal.
- Restore updated recipes required for the above, including:
* cluster-dashboard
* cluster-receiver
* qt-cluster-receiver
* tbtnavi
- Simple systemd unit files have been added for the cluster
applications and are installed as user session units. Starting
of cluster-dashboard (the XDG version) and cluster-receiver in
the AGL user session is enabled by default.
- The recipes to install the dedicated network configuration for
the cluster demo have been restored so that the
agl-cluster-demo-support and agl-demo-preload features will do
what is expected again.
Known outstanding issues:
- The previous signal-composer binding support has been removed
from cluster-dashboard, so related functionality (i.e. driving
it from CAN) is disabled until replacement is worked out.
- While tbtnavi builds, the previous use of the navigation binding
is stubbed out in libqtappfw, so it will not receive location
and route information from ondemandnavi.
- Nothing has been added yet to start tbtnavi in the AGL user
session, the plan is to do so with a systemd user unit once a
new mechanism for controlling it from ondemandnavi has been
implemented.
- The telematics-recorder application has not yet been updated
to replace its signal-composer, gps, and network binding use.
The intent is to address these issues in the 13.0.x point releases.

Add updated recipes for the mediaplayer, radio, phone, and
messaging apps that build the updated versions that do not
use the previous application framework. The mediaplayer
currently only has local media playback support via
libqtappfw, the other apps are somewhat placeholders for
now as their application framework usage via libqtappfw
has been stubbed out for now.

Backport the recipe for the latest (0.23.5) version of mpd
(Music Player Daemon) from meta-openembedded's master branch.
This provides a version with native PipeWire support, and should
help make the upcoming upgrade to Yocto Project 3.5 (aka Kirkstone)
easier. Additionally, the recipes for the related libmpdclient
library and mpc utility are also backported to ensure compatibility.
The provided bbappend for the mpd recipe tweaks the backport to
build with the older version of meson in dunfell, and applies
configuration to approximate the lightmediascanner set up with
regards to media location and using /var/volatile for metadata
storage for robustness.

Add updated recipes for the dashboard, hvac, ondemandnavi, and

they use and its new dependency bluez-glib. The applications are
added back to the packagegroup-agl-demo-platform as they were
before. Also remove a couple of leftover things in the packagegroup
recipe to clean up.

Through its dependencies, `launcher` pulls all necessary software,
including `agl-session`, `homescreen`, `weston-ini-conf`... Make the
`agl-demo-platform` packagegroup depend on it for using the new App FW.
Moreover, make the `agl-graphical-weston` packagegroup depend on
`agl-compositor-init` so we directly install the appfw-provided config
and systemd services for `agl-compositor`.

During the last workshop the transition to the new framework was presented.
This change essentially deprecates the SMACK-based application framework.
To prepare the integration of it, we remove the deprecated components:
- recipes-apis : all agl-service-*
- recipes-demos: all demo apps but homescreen
- non-essential configurations

This is the result of running a slightly customized version of the
convert-overrides.py script from poky with additional overrides
added.
The intent of these changes is to minimize the effort to keep the
"next" branch that builds against poky master up to date and tested
in preparation for the switch to the next Yocto LTS release in
early 2022.

The rework of the weston-ini-conf recipe in meta-agl new means that
there are separate weston-ini-conf and weston-ini-conf-landscape
packages for portrait versus landscape mode, so update use in the
demo image packagegroups to use the appropriate one explicitly.
The previous dependency in packagegroup-agl-graphical-weston has been
removed since weston-init now has a dependency on the new "weston-ini"
runtime (i.e. explicit RPROVIDES) dependency. Note, however, that
explicitly pulling weston-ini-conf or weston-ini-conf-landscape into
images is recommended as opposed to relying on PREFERRED_RPROVIDER.

Changes include:
- Add "agl-test-wgt" to IMAGE_FEATURES in the agl-demo template
definition to yield the desired default behavior of the test
widgets always being added to the agl-demo-platform image.
- Created new devel and test packagegroup variants for several of the
existing packagegroups to contain the associated widgets.
- Added several services to the RDEPENDS in the definition of
packagegroup-agl-ive-services that have been getting picked up by
application RDEPENDS. This simplifies the test/devel packagegroup
definitions.
- Extend the agl-devel-wgt and agl-test-wgt FEATURE_PACKAGES
variables as necessary to add the required corresponding widget
packagegroups.
- Shifted some non-applications and the use of
packagegroup-hmi-framework around a bit in the definition of
packagegroup-agl-demo-platform to improve clarity.
- The alexa-viewer app and virtual/alexa-voiceagent-config package
are now pulled in by extending the agl-voiceagent-alexa
FEATURE_PACKAGES definition. This is a cleaner use of the image
feature than the previous checking of IMAGE_FEATURES that was being
done in the packagegroup-agl-demo-platform definition.

Add agl-service-can-high-level-viwi recipe to replace the
high-level-viwi-service one from meta-agl (which will later be
removed), and update packagegroup-agl-ivi-services to use it.
Also remove high-level-viwi-service and agl-service-signal-composer
from the AGL_APPS list in packagegroup-agl-demo-platform, as they
are already pulled in via packagegroup-agl-ivi-services.

To enable seeing the steering wheel LIN messages on the cluster board
for the planned CES demo, a systemd unit that wraps the use of candump
in bridging mode is added when the agl-cluster-support feature is
enabled. To make sure that the sllin0 interface is always available
for testing without the specific demo LIN hardware, a vcan interface
is set up as sllin0 when the ttyUSB0 device representing the serial
adapter for the LIN transceiver is not present. Since this virtual
sllin0 interface is very useful for general testing of the steering
wheel event support up through the low-can and signal-composer stack,
it has not been hidden behind agl-cluster-demo-support.

Add recipes for udev rules and associated scripts
1) Support USB attached I2C devices for RTC and HVAC LED support.
The RTC support loads and configures the required rtc-ds1307
driver, and sets the time from the RTC clock. The HVAC LED
support configures the LED device names for use by the HVAC
binding.
The new demo-i2c-udev-conf recipe is
added to DEMO_PLATFORM_CONF variable in packagegroup-agl-demo-platform
to have them added to the agl-demo-platform image. Since they use
udev rules to detect the corresponding hardware, this should be safe
for all platforms.

We don't need unzip for normal operation, so only add it for agl-devel.

The ondemandnavi navigation application does not work with the
mapviewer cluster demo application, so update the logic to handle
the agl-cluster-demo-support feature in packagegroup-agl-demo-platform
to not pull it in when using ondemandnavi as the virtual/navigation
provider. Since the plan is to replace mapviewer with an equivalent
QtLocation based map streamer for the cluster demo, the mapviewer-demo
recipe has also been replaced with a more generically named
cluster-demo-network-config recipe. Additionally, the agl-demo-preload
feature logic has been tweaked to not pull in the map package for the
old navigation application when using ondemandnavi.

This moves all soundmanager components off into meta-agl-devel/meta-audio-soundmanager-framework .
Soundmanager is not supported in HH.
Furthermore, I simplified the image and packagegroup recipes.
Feature templates were modified to reflect the change as well.

Testing for CES has found the wilink BT on the M3+Kingfisher somewhat
unreliable. To disable it by default for now, add a demo platform
configuration hook to packagegroup-agl-demo-platform and use it to
pick up a modprobe configuration file to prevent btwilink from loading.
This addition is specific to the m3ulcb platform, and the variable
DEMO_ENABLE_BTWILINK can be used to over-ride the behavior by setting
it to "true" in local.conf or site.conf.

Add a feature to preload the maps for the navigation app and the API key
for the POI app. The intent is to allow building an image that works
"out of the box" without manually installing things. The selection of
UK or Japan maps can be controlled by setting the variable
DEMO_MAPS_LOCALE to either "uk" (default) or "jp" in local.conf or
site.conf. The POI API key should be set in one of those locations with
the variable POIAPP_API_KEY (default value is an empty string).

Add new feature to enable support for the cluster demo. At the moment,
it pulls in the agl-gstrecorder feature and enables building the required
mapviewer application.
