2017-11-22Rework Linux Kernel fragment applicationsTom Rini7-36/+0
- All kernel recipes must inherit linux-agl.inc - All kernel recipes for a given version (e.g. 4.9) should include linux-VER-agl.inc in order to avoid duplication (such as the SMACK label patch or security fixes) - We enforce having merge_config.sh be invoked at the end, in order to make sure fragments will be applied. - Add a new fragment for Raspberry Pi to ensure the Pi Touchscreen is still enabled. With all of the above, we fix a number of minor issues as well, such as platforms manually enabling NBD/RAMDISK for netboot as the previous logic was not working in all cases. This speeds up VMWare graphics performance. Previously, I recall this not working, but I tested again and it's working fine as long as it's compiled builtin and not as a module. 2016-10-05Enable the DRM backend for Weston on QEMU-x86/x86-64Tadao Tanikawa1-0/+1
The DRM backend is the native Weston backend for systems that support the Linux kernel DRM, kernel mode setting(KMS), and evdev input devices. This patch set the DRM backend as default and also enable bochs display vga interface for qemu std vga. fanotify API is currently enabled on meta-renesas kernel, and is required by our LTP tests (see mention on https://jira.automotivelinux.org/browse/SPEC-89), but was not available on QEMU kernel. 2015-10-22Provide Wayland FITS, disabled by defaultManuel Bachmann1-0/+3
Wayland FITS is a functional integration test suite for Wayland/Weston. It consists in 2 components : a Weston plugin, and a "wfits" binary used to run tests. The tests themselves simulate user interaction with surfaces and windows, using virtual keyboard/mouse/touchscreen drivers. The recipe was recently submitted to the official "meta-openembedded" layer, and can be found here : http://lists.openembedded.org/pipermail/openembedded-devel/ 2015-September/103511.html The package will not be built unless the user explicitly adds "wayland-fits" to his "conf/local.conf" file. QEMU needs the "uinput" driver available on startup, so we always build it, but only install it if the package has been selected.
