Changes include:
- Add LAYERSERIES_COMPAT definitions to layer.conf files
- Remove now unnecessary SECURITY_*FLAGS over-rides from distro
configuration
- Set intel-corei7-64 preferred kernel version to 4.19 to match
latest linux-intel kernel available in meta-intel
- Update qemuarm preferred kernel version to 4.18 to match latest
linux-yocto

- Remove now unnecessary lttng-modules backport
- Update linux-raspberrypi bbappend to 4.14 kernel
- Added kernel configuration fragment for raspberrypi to disable
Kprobes. This is required until linux-raspberrypi is updated to
greater than 4.14.104 to avoid a build failure in lttng-modules
related to a check for known breakage in the kernel CONFIG_OPTPROBES
code.
- Replace obsolete base_conditional usage with oe.utils.conditional
- Add gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad bbappend for raspberrypi3 to disable
faad PACKAGECONFIG to avoid commercial license issues
- Remove unused and unbuildable Vayu gstreamer recipes
- Update linux-ti-staging bbappend for new BSP kernel
- Regen dcan2_pinmux_enable.patch for linux-ti-staging to remove fuzz
warning, and remove upstreamed fix_dcan_addresses.patch
- Remove ipumm-fw from meta-agl-bsp/meta-ti, as newer version is
available in the upstream BSP
- Update meta-agl-bsp/meta-ti weston patch to apply against 5.0.0
- Update meta-agl-bsp/meta-ti wayland-ivi-extension patch to apply
against 2.2.0

move of ivi-controller.so configuration in Weston 5.0.0
- Update connman-ncurses patch to remove fuzz warning
- Add installation of systemd over-ride file for run-postinsts.service
in run-postinsts bbappend to workaround race condition between
ldconfig.service and the /sbin/ldconfig invocations in the
post-install scripts run by run-postinsts.service. The observed
failure was cynara's post-install script failing and its database
not being created.
- Remove now unnecessary valgrind backport
- Add patches to fix most driver compilation against newer kernels
- Update libmicrohttpd bbappend
- Remove libssp-dev from agl-image-graphical-qt5-crosssdk and
agl-demo-platform-html5-crosssdk, upstream have removed it from
non-mingw32 platform SDKs

0016-ivi-shell_add_screen_remove_layer_api.patch
0017-ivi-shell-register-ivi_layout_interface.patch
have been removed as they have been applied upstream and are no longer
necessary. Patches:
0018-compositor-add-output-type-to-weston_output.patch
0019-compositor-drm-introduce-drm_get_dmafd_from_view.patch
(both related to Waltham) have been disabled for now as they need
significant rework.

Rework towards agl profiles.
This change is part of a series of changes to create the
AGL profiles.
This set will mainly introduce the 'core' profile.
It is setup to be a drop-in change, thus some files were kept
in (dummy) locations for now.
However, they'll be taken care of in the next changes in this series.
The main target of the meta-agl-profile-core layer is to host:
- a minimal, bootable image with network and package management enabled
-- agl-image-boot
- a minimal image with network and packagemanagement and the AGL APIs
-- agl-image-minimal
The layer meta-agl-profile-graphical is used as superset of these
and includes support for egl+wayland+weston. All recipes concerning
graphics were moved there. This is not a full profile as we still have
to migrate some parts of meta-agl-demo in a follow-up changeset.
The roadmap as discussed during the F2F session in Karlsruhe is:
- week 16 : core profile and profiles w/o graphics
- week 17 : graphical profiles
- week 18 : final conversion of the demo image
v2: moved agl-login-manager from -graphics to -core (see Jose's comment)
v3: moved back after discussion - follow-up in separate changeset

The profiles need a clear priorization of the layers.
Especially the core layers need a high prio in this context.
Apply a prio of 70 to core/essential layers and of 60 to BSP, netboot and smack.

Currently, we hardcode GPLv2/GPLv3 logic directly into the poky-agl
distro config, and in agl-demo. However, the recipes in meta-gplv2 are
very old, poorly supported, and receive no security updates. So, they
can easily cause issues.
To allow the choice of both GPLv2 and GPLv3, refactor the meta-gplv2
logic into its own "agl-gplv2" feature. The default is GPLv3, which
points to well-supported layers with security updates. However, by
adding the "agl-gplv2" feature in aglsetup.h, the meta-gplv2 layer gets
added to bblayers.conf and recipe versions get set to those in
meta-gplv2.

As part of the pyro merge we need to continue to overlay these classes
in order to support vmdk.xz. While upstream has some of the underlying
required changes, we had dropped 'vmdk' as a standalone image type and
now have 'wic.vmdk' there. This was too invasive for pyro however.
This in turn means that we carry vmdk.xz support here.
Another part of this is that in some places we were checking only for
the string vmdk but also need to check for the string vmdk.xz as well.
Update these locations to use bb.utils.contains_any so that we can catch
both easily.

Currently, if you build a vmdk file, you also need to manually add in
drivers to make your image fast (vbox/vmware drivers). We can make this
automatic so that when you build a vmdk, drivers are automatically added
in. Using this approach, both vbox and vmware drivers are added, which
is more than is generally necessary, but it means that a single vmdk
image can support many use cases, and the same image can be distributed
to many developers.
For developer images, this seems like a good tradeoff because
convenience is more important than disk space/bloat for developers. For
production, we leave this option off to reduce unneeded components.

Having features allowed only during developement
of AGL is a plus. This commit allows to add tests
within recipes to check if the current build is
AGL developement. If not the build is for production.
By default, extra feature must be off.
This commits doesn't add
CPPFLAGS += "-DAGL_DEVEL"
to improve build time and cache space of yocto.
However, it is a good practice, when needed, to
use the tag AGL_DEVEL in C/C++ codes specific to
AGL and thus to include the line
CPPFLAGS_append_agl-devel = " -DAGL_DEVEL"
in recipes specific to AGL.

Upstream is working on guidelines for DISTRO and BSP layers.
One outcome is the yocto-compat-layer tool.
A requirement for BSP and DISTRO layers is that they are single-purpose
aka just defining the distro and only defining the BSP.
To comply with this, move the distro out into meta-agl-distro and adapt the templates.

Since we added compilation security flags (https://gerrit.
automotivelinux.org/gerrit/#/c/5631/), QEMU builds break
when compiling llvm3.3, which is a Mesa dependency.
(most hardware boards do not complain because they do not
rely on Mesa, but on specific graphics drivers instead)
Problem was reported on the mailing list :
https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/
automotive-discussions/2016-June/002091.html
This a local backport of the following upstream patch :

From the original included file:
Setup extra CFLAGS and LDFLAGS which have 'security' benefits. These
don't work universally, there are recipes which can't use one, the other
or both so a blacklist is maintained here. The idea would be over
time to reduce this list to nothing.
It is likely that:
- some packages in the included layers don't compile with these flags
- bad recipes do not obey these flags
- binary drivers might expose issues at runtime
We need to check and extend the blacklist/whitelist or fix the code or recipe.

This changeset introduces the TI 'vayu' board.
We need to adapt the provided bsp layer 'meta-ti' as
it is only at YP 1.8 fido right now.
Two changes are needed/known:
a) BBMASK eudev bbappend (local.conf.sample)
b) apply patch for gcc5 to u-boot-ti-staging
On top thie changeset also does janitorial work on the templates:
- conf-notes is now in a folder common and symlinked
- layer additions have been sync'ed
- file layout sync'ed with templates in meta-agl-demo

This configuration is for installing a minimal set of packages
to use GStreamer1.0 in meta-agl.
This configuration also switch 2 versions of GStreamer,
when building for QEMU, GStreamer1.0 1.4.1 is selected by AGL distro
configuration, for R-Car2 Porter, GStreamer1.0 1.2.3 by meta-renesas.
The installed plugins of GStreamer1.0 is also minimal, so when more
are needed, add appropriate packages to IMAGE_INSTALL in your
local.conf manually.

'meta-ivi-common' is a new Yocto layer for common packages
to various Linux-based In-Vehicle Infotainment system.
The metadata to install common packages which developed by other OSS
projects (except Poky/OE) would be cloned here. (This cloning is
tentative until a better way to refer those metadata is found.)
To add common packages which are already in Poky/OE into rootfs
of meta-agl, add them to packagegroup-ivi-common-* in meta-ivi-common.
And the common packages which used to be in packagegroup-agl-core-*
are moved to packagegroup-ivi-common-*. (weston and weston-examples)

The `meta-agl` is the Yocto layer for Automotive Grade Linux Distribution.
There are some recipes which define bitbake's targets and packagegroups
of this distribution.
This is starting point, so some recipes are from meta-ivi or poky/oe-core
and others are framework or empty.
